Is a receipt required in order to be approved for warranty repair?
No, a receipt is not required, at least to some extent.
All Pulsar units are covered under a limited 3 year* warranty starting from the date of purchase, if a receipt can be provided to verify. However, if a receipt cannot be provided, your warranty date will begin based on the manufacturing date of the unit which we determine by the unit's serial number.
*Units purchased after January 1st, 2024 and that are registered and approved under the Warranty Registration page qualify for a additional 2 years of warranty service.*
If you are unable to provide a receipt, and your unit was manufactured more than 3 years ago, your unit will be labeled as out of warranty and can only be repaired at a quoted price.
*After inspection is completed for out of warranty units, we allow up to 2 weeks for you to decide if you wish to have your unit repaired at the quoted price. Once 2 weeks have past, and no response is provided by the customer, the defective unit will be shipped back to as is.*
